Jim Ford Speaks Out: Read the Facts You Won't Find in Your Local News

     In recent years the local newspaper has criticized my office for only replying to their questions if they were in writing. This procedure has still not assured accurate reporting of the facts. Therefore, I am launching a new feature on my website. I will publish the questions asked by the local newspaper, my answer, any pertinent supporting documents, the news story which follows, if any, and a comparison of what appeared in the news story versus the facts. This will include rebuttal of unresearched, inaccurate or unfounded statements by the local newspaper either in news stories or editorials relating to me or my office.
     This office will also be responding to any inaccurate or factually incomplete television news coverage that has been slanted to place this office in an unfavorable light.
     Hopefully the public will find this useful as you search for the facts and make those who disseminate news stories accountable for what they report.
